Pilot dies in microlight crash
A pilot is reported to have died after a small plane crashed in a field in Leicestershire.

The microlight aircraft came down in a field north of Ashby-de-la-Zouch at about 1630 GMT on Tuesday.

The man was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary for treatment, but later died. His name has still not yet been released.

The Civil Aviation Authority has launched an investigation and the crash scene is being examined.
