Police appeal after sexual assault
A 17-year-old woman was sexually assaulted as she walked through Leek town centre.

The woman was walking in Market Place at 2130 GMT on Monday when a man called out to her, but she ignored him and carried on walking.

When she got to Derby Street the man grabbed her arm, dragged her towards the Red Lion Pub and sexually assaulted her.

The woman managed to get away and ran into the pub.

He is described as white, of medium build, aged between 20 and 25-years-old with short brown hair and was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Staffordshire Police.
