Murder police seek man

Police are trying to trace a man from Leicester following a murder in a nightclub on New Year's Day.

Darren Brownlow, 32, from The Martival in New Humberstone, has already been charged with killing Harry Botton.

Mr Botton, 35, from Newark in Nottinghamshire died after being stabbed at The Lounge One Club on Welford Road early on New Year's Day.

Police have now said they want to speak to 19-year-old Elliott Rainford from the West End area of Leicester.

He is described as black, around 6ft 2ins tall and of slim build with short cropped hair.

Police say anyone who has seen Mr Rainford should contact them immediately.
