Parents of abandoned baby sought
Couple on CCTV camera
Police have released CCTV pictures of two people they want to speak to
The parents of a two-week-old baby boy, abandoned at Heathrow Airport on Friday, are being sought by police.

The child, who police say is of oriental parentage, was found in a toilet in Terminal Two at the west London airport at about 2030 GMT.

No note was left with the child who was taken to hospital and found to be fit and well.

Police want to talk to a man and a woman caught on CCTV at the airport. The child is now in foster care.

Staff at a west London hospital have named the baby Sonny.

Detective Inspector Gordon Valentine, from the Child Protection Unit based at Northwood, said: "I am most concerned regarding the immediate welfare of the mother and the future welfare of the child.

"We are anxious to hear from anyone who has knowledge of an oriental lady with a two-week-old baby who either arrived at, or departed from, Heathrow airport last Friday evening."
