It's Wales@Westminster weblog, BBC Wales' Parliamentary correspondent David Cornock's diary on political life. It's a two-way process though, so add your comments too.

In a mess

Welsh politics is in a mess, says Ron Davies, a man who knows about these things.
The former Welsh Secretary has left the Labour Party because he's unhappy with the Welsh Assembly Government and the way it handles devolution.
Mr Davies says the decision to leave was, to coin a phrase, "a process not an event" (unlike his career which, after Clapham Common, became an event and not a process).
His complaints include the devolution settlement and the assembly's failure to press the UK Government to renegotiate the formula that decides much public spending in Wales.
Modesty prevents him pointing out who negotiated that settlement (Ron Davies) and who the Welsh secretary was who sat in Tony Blair's Cabinet for 18 months without re-negotiating the formula (Ron Davies again).
Iain Dale who may not be an MP yet but is standing as a candidate has an interesting blog. Because blogging is quite spontaneous it is likely to make MP's motivations more transparent.
