Doormen accused over clubber's death

Hywel Llywelyn Hughes died at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor

Two doormen have been charged with the manslaughter of a man who died in police custody after he had visited a nightclub.

Colin Christopher Parry, 35, and Rhodri Ellis Thomas, 31, both from Anglesey, are accused over the death last May of Hywel Llywelyn Hughes, 32.

Mr Hughes, who lived in Bangor with his mother, had been at the city's Joop nightclub.

He died at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor the following evening.

The two doormen are due to appear before Caernarfon magistrates on 2 February.
