Unexpected new arrival for mother

A Wiltshire mother who did not know she was pregnant has given birth to a baby boy.

The 4lb 3oz child was born six weeks prematurely to Mel Day and her partner Paul from Ashton Keynes.

Ms Day - who already has two daughters - had only a 10-minute warning that the baby was coming.

The child was born at Swindon's Great Western Hospital on Friday where he is said to be doing well in the baby care unit.
