Tuition fees
The beginning of a very lively week in Westminster. The last minute tactics of the government and the rock-steady tuition fee rebels. Tony Blair's gathering them to him in smoke-free rooms in the Palace of Westminster to urge them to see the error of their ways, urged on by voices off calling for cruel and unusual punishments for those who oppose the government. But is there something else going on?
Martha Kearney investigated whether it's difficult votes in the past that's keeping this backbench rebellion going.
Terror network
We investigated allegations that a man granted political asylum by Norway twelve years ago has been running a terror network in conjunction with al-Qaeda across Europe. The founder and alleged leader of Ansar Al- Islam is now under arrest in Oslo facing charges of organising suicide bombers in Iraq.
Peter Marshall had a special report from Norway and Italy.
Cleaning workers
And Barclays Bank is to give contract cleaning workers at its giant Canary Wharf HQ a package of pay and benefits that's been hailed as groundbreaking by employment experts. It could signal the beginning of the end of the corporate culture that has made cleaners the "invisible workforce" in many large firms. What's more, this deal has been negotiated between a global bank and an alliance of local community groups and churches.
