A man has been bailed by magistrates following a stabbing in Gloucester at the weekend.
Police were called to a house at the junction of Derby Road and Milbrook Street on Saturday, where they found a man suffering from stab wounds.
He is in a serious but stable condition in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Ian Cross, 26, was bailed to re-appear before magistrates after being charged with wounding with intent. He must not contact witnesses or their families.
Police initially arrested three people: a 17-year-old Gloucester woman has been released on police bail, and a man, 19, from Gloucester, was released without charge.
