Reward over 85-year-old's murder
Domicela Skiera
Mrs Skiera had been living in England for 50 years
A £10,000 reward for information about the murder of a wealthy 85-year-old widow is being offered one year after her death.

Nearly every bone in Domicela Skiera's face had been broken after she was punched repeatedly by her attacker at her home in Ealing, west London.

Mrs Skiera's bound body was found by two of her Polish lodgers.

Police are still trying to trace a third lodger, a Polish man, who has not been seen since the murder.

The two lodgers found Polish-born Mrs Skiera at about 2150 GMT on 29 January last year.

They alerted a neighbour who contacted police immediately.

Mrs Skiera, who had lived in England for 50 years, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of her death to be facial injuries.

The third lodger, who is believed to have worked as a builder's labourer in the Ealing area, is aged about 40, 5 ft 8 in tall and has dark hair and a moustache.

He is slim and has pockmarked skin.
