Heroin haul in drugs raid
Police who carried out a drugs raid in Blackburn say they have seized a "substantial" amount of heroin.

Two men were arrested in the swoop, which took place on Sunday afternoon.

On Monday, Lancashire Police said they had recovered drugs with a street value of £50,000.

About 50 officers were involved in the operation on Swallow Drive at lunchtime on Sunday.

The two men who are being held both come from Blackburn and are aged 30 and 45.

Three other addresses were searched in the operation, and further property was taken, police said.
