Detectives from across the UK are being asked to help in the hunt for the killer of sky diver Stephen Hilder.
Humberside Police will present details of the case at a conference in Scunthorpe on 28 January.
Mr Hilder, from Hereford, fell to his death at Hibaldstow Airfield, north Lincolnshire, in July 2003, after his parachute was sabotaged.
Detective Superintendent Colin Andrews said he wanted to "tap into" other officers' skills.
Mr Andrews said new information was still emerging but he wanted to see if colleagues from across the country could see anything they had missed.
He said he was also keen to get their views on how they could get through the huge amount of evidence they have amassed over the past seven months.
"I am grateful to the officers for giving up their time and I hope to spend a productive day with them," he said.
