Police hunting the killer of a 31-year-old Teesside man have made an arrest.
The body of Darren Manders was found under logs at woods in Nunthorpe last July by two dog walkers.
Mr Manders - who had two children - lived in the Bow Street area of Middlesbrough and was last seen in the town on 5 June last year.
Ten weeks after the murder investigation began, police stopped 180 cars and spoke to 700 people around Bow Street and Nunthorpe.
Police said they arrested a 26-year-old Middlesbrough man on Monday morning in connection with Mr Manders' death.
He is being questioned by officers at a police station in the town.
