A man found dead in a flat in north Worcestershire has been named by police.
Patrick Martin Peters, who was single with one child, died from a single stab wound to the chest, a post-mortem examination revealed.
The 28-year-old's body was discovered at his home in New Road in Rubery at about 0125 GMT on Monday.
Police said a man was arrested at the scene in connection with Mr Peters' death and a knife was also recovered.
Redditch magistrates gave detectives an extra 24 hours to question the suspect.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
