Appeal over knifepoint robbery
Police are appealing for information after a man was mugged at knifepoint by a gang in Coventry.

The 45-year-old victim had his arms held behind his back by one of the offenders during the attack on Albert Street in Hillfields, at about 2000 GMT on 17 January.

One of the group also produced a knife and threatened the man, before taking a gold wristwatch valued at £200.

It is believed the gang then walked down Albert Street and into Aylesford Street.

The man holding the knife is described as a black, about five feet tall, between 17 and 20, with a slim build and short black curly hair.

He had a Caribbean accent and was wearing a black jumper with dark trousers and black shoes.

Two of the other muggers are described as white, also about five feet tall and in their late teens.
