Man arrested in murder inquiry

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a woman in Cambridgeshire.

Officers found the body of a 21-year-old woman from at a property on South Brink in Wisbech at around 22 GMT on Saturday night.

The identity of the woman is not yet known.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesman said the man who was arrested was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries.

He was expected to remain in hospital for some time.

A post-mortem examination was expected to be carried out on Monday.
