Man injured in unprovoked attack

Police in Guernsey are appealing for witnesses after a serious unprovoked attack in the early hours of Saturday.

A man was set upon by two or three other men in St Julian's Avenue at about 0230 GMT.

He received numerous head injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone with information about an incident in the Trinity Square, Pedvin Street area of St Peter Port.

It involved four or five men at about 0800 GMT on Saturday.
