A 19-year-old pedestrian died after a road accident near a taxi rank in Leominster.
Davey Stanik was involved in a collision with a car in Dishley Street, near the junction with South Street, just after 0100 GMT on Saturday, police said.
He had recently left the Euphoria nightclub in the town.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
Police said a Home Office pathologist has been called in to examine the body.
Anyone who saw the incident is being urged to get in touch with the police.
