Police hunt armed robbers
Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole thousands of pounds from a property company in Stockton.

Two men wearing balaclavas and armed with iron bars ran into the office of Stockton Flats, on Hartington Road, at about 1550 GMT on Friday.

They threatened a female member of staff before running off with £2,000 in cash and cheques.

Cleveland Police said a third man acted as a lookout outside.

The first man is described as being 5 ft 9 in tall, of medium build, and was wearing a large black padded jacket.

The second man was also 5 ft 9 in tall, of medium, and was wearing a large grey padded jacket.

Police said the man who acted as a lookout was 5 ft 5 in to 5 ft 7 in, bald, and was wearing jeans with a white tracksuit top.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
