Thieves target ambulance
Life-saving equipment was stolen from an ambulance as its crew attended an emergency.

The theft happened at about 2100 GMT on Friday close to the Stanwyck Fish Bar on the Sutton Hill estate in Telford.

A large blue canvas holdall containing a life support kit was taken from the ambulance, along with five spray inhalers.

The inhalers are designed to lower blood pressure and police say they could cause someone to collapse if they're misused.

Sergeant Geoff Whynell said the theft was completely irresponsible and could have put someone's life at risk.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
