Funeral for former SAS soldier
The funeral has taken place of a former SAS soldier who lived in Hereford for many years.

Reg Taylor was taken ill last Friday at his favourite haunt, The Barrels public house.

The service for Mr Taylor was held at the SAS regimental church, St Martin's, on Saturday afternoon.

He was cremated; his ashes will be scattered at a later date.

Mr Taylor was well-known in Hereford, which is the home of the SAS regiment.

He will be remembered for his fine sense of humour and his support of the Allied Special Forces' Association.
