Armed robbery at travel agent
A robber threatened staff at a Black Country travel agent with a gun before making off with cash from the till.

The raid happened at about 1630 GMT on Friday at Lunn Poly in High Street, West Bromwich, West Midlands.

The offender stole £2,500 before escaping in a green Rover 620 car.

Police are appealing for witnesses.

The offender is described as a white man, 5 ft 6 in, between 20 and 25-years-old, of small build and with an Irish accent.

He was wearing a black woolly hat, black hooded coat and black jeans.

The car he used was found later in Ladywood, Birmingham.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact detectives at West Bromwich police station.
