Woman dragged along road by thief
A woman has been injured after being dragged down the road while trying to stop a thief from stealing her car.

She got out of her car at 1840 GMT on Wednesday to open her gates in Hurlfield Road, Gleadless when a man got in and tried to drive away.

The 51-year-old reached in to grab the car keys but suffered bruising as the thief reversed away dragging her with him for a few yards.

The car, a Mazda MX5, was recovered in the Norfolk Park area of Sheffield.

Police described the man they want to trace as white, between 20 and 30 with a pale, gaunt complexion.
