Fumes alert after break-in
Two police officers had medical checks after breathing in fumes as they investigated a break-in.

About five litres of a chemical had been spilt at the building in Portishead.

Firefighters wearing special suits dealt with the spillage by covering it with sand.

The incident took place at 0015 GMT on Saturday and fire brigade crews were at the scene of the incident for more than four hours.
