Search for boy continues
Jordan Murdoch, drowned at Killough
Jordan was swept into the sea earlier this month
About 200 people have been searching the coastline for the body of missing teenager Jordan Murdoch who was swept off a pier into the sea at County Down.

The 14-year-old fell into the water at Killough harbour almost two weeks ago on 11 January.

Another boy, 12-year-old David Hackett, was pulled from the water by his family.

On Sunday, the Bishop of Down and Connor, Dr Patrick Walsh, is to meet Jordan's family. He will also celebrate Mass at St Joseph's church in the town.

It comes a day after divers and walkers helped in the search for Jordan and spotter planes were also used.

Those searching hope that fresh areas of coastline will be exposed in the coming days by very high and low tides caused by a full moon.

In the past week, the search has been concentrated on the seabed in the harbour.

Divers have been searching sectioned-off areas but they have so far failed to find anything.

The Coastguard said last weekend's search was the biggest of its kind in Northern Ireland.
