Jobs boost with 100 new posts
Saga building
A total of 25 people have already been recruited for the new jobs
An area of Kent is in line for a jobs boost with the creation of 100 new positions.

The posts are being created at a new insurance operation which has been set up in Thanet.

The operation is being jointly run by the Saga Group and Town and Country Assistance.

The new posts will consist of claim handling and customer care and will be based at Pysons Road in Broadstairs.

Challenging jobs

Ian Arundel, customer service director for Town and Country, said: "There will be customer service jobs where people will be contacting policy holders to advise them of the progress of the repair or their claim.

"And some quite technical jobs associated with identifying what is wrong with the vehicle - is the repair going to plan and is there a 3rd party claim that is likely to be handled.

"They are quite detailed and quite challenging jobs and it offers a complete career opportunity for people in the Thanet area."

A total of 25 people have already been recruited with another 75 positions in the pipeline to be filled by the end of 2004.
