Man missing for two years
Lynden Nowell
There have been no sightings of Mr Nowell since January 2002
Two years to the day he vanished, detectives have renewed their appeal for a missing father-of-one.

Lynden Nowell, 31,from Kirkdale was last seen leaving the Coronation Pub in Childwall Valley Road, Liverpool.

His Ford Focus car was later found burnt out in Salford, Greater Manchester on 25 January.

Police say his partner and son, now four, have been "seriously affected" by his disappearance and they are appealing for information.

Mr Nowell was alone when he was seen leaving the pub, some time between 2000 and 2045 GMT, and there have been no sightings of him since.

Somebody, somewhere must know where [Lynden] is and I would urge them to contact us
Detective Superintendent Russ Walsh

Detective Superintendent Russ Walsh, said: "The question still remains, 'Where is Lynden Nowell?'

"A man of his age, with a young family, doesn't just walk out of a pub and vanish into thin air.

"Somebody, somewhere must know where he is and I would urge them to contact us as soon as possible."

Mr Nowell is black, 6ft 3ins tall and well built. He was last seen wearing beige Armani-style trousers and a red/maroon top.

Anyone with information about Mr Nowell, or Mr Nowell himself, should contact police or ring Crimestoppers.
