Warning over "fake" police officer
Police are warning Glastonbury residents to be wary of anybody claiming to be a policeman who does not have proper identification.

The warning follows an incident where a man, claiming to be a policeman, gained access to an elderly woman's house.

He claimed he needed to get in because of a break-in at the neighbouring home.

When the woman, aged 82, became suspicious, she challenged the man who then ran off. He is described as being in his mid-20s and is 5ft 10ins tall.

He was wearing a grey jacket, jumper and trousers, and has short dark curly hair.

A second man was seen running from the house with the first man. He was described as white and was wearing dark clothing.
