Health expert dies after crash
A 65-year-old man badly hurt in a head-on car crash in Shropshire has died from his injuries.

Osman Shouli, a mental health expert from Wellington, was a passenger in a BMW involved in an accident on the A5223 at Lawley on 23 December.

The car was being driven by his colleague Craig Newnes, a clinical psychologist from Myddle, near Shrewsbury.

Both men worked for Shropshire's Primary Care Trust, where Mr Shouli was employed as a senior psychotherapist.

He died on Thursday.

Mr Newnes was badly injured in the accident.

Colleagues have paid tribute to Palestinian-born Mr Shouli, describing him as well-respected man with a great sense of humour who will be sorely missed.

He had worked in the NHS since 1969.
