Dead baby's parents bailed

A teenage couple from Suffolk arrested for questioning after the death of their baby son have been released on bail.

The four-month-old boy died on Wednesday.

Police officers were told of his death by staff at the West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.

A post-mortem examination revealed the baby had a number of injuries.

A 17-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man from Stowmarket were being questioned by officers.

They have been bailed to return to Bury St Edmunds police station next month.
