A man who stabbed a Nottingham dentist to death when their relationship broke down has been jailed for five years.
Paul Limb, 22, had been accused of murdering his gay lover, Michael Limb.
A jury cleared him of murder but convicted him of manslaughter after Michael, 59, was found stabbed to death at the men's home in Nottinghamshire.
Nottingham Crown Court heard how Paul had described himself as the dentist's "rent boy" and had taken his lovers' name.
The court was told Paul had received gifts of jewellery and a car from the dentist.
It also heard how Paul had changed his surname from Holehouse to Limb by deed poll as a sign of affection for his lover.
The two men, who were said to have rowed a lot, lived together in Harlaxton Drive in Lenton.
Mr Justice Treacy said he accepted there had been genuine affection between the two men before jailing Limb.
