Work to improve primary and secondary schools in a part of west Cornwall has finished.
About £8m has been spent on the buildings in the Pool area.
The work is part of a private finance initiative, which aims to create more modern facilities in the area.
Pool School and Community College now has a new science laboratory, a multi-media suite and a design and technology room.
Nearly £1.5m has been used to create the new Pencoys School at Four Lanes, which replaces Nine Maidens and Carnkie schools.
Extra classrooms, a library and outdoor facilities have been built at Treloweth Primary School.
Work has also been carried out at Portreath and Rosemellion primary schools.
