Acid waste containers stolen
Potentially hazardous containers that once held acid waste and cyanide have been stolen from an industrial site.

The 35 plastic vessels were taken from premises on Chester Road in Saltney, near Chester, some time over last weekend, Cheshire Police said.

The containers, marked with corrosive poison stickers, are empty but may still hold traces of the chemicals.

The ones which held acid may hold a yellow-coloured residue, and those which held cyanide may be brown.

Anyone who comes into contact with the containers, or knows where they are, should contact police or Crimestoppers.
