Christmas Eve death crash appeal

The dead man has not been named by police

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for information after a driver died following a crash with two other cars on Christmas Eve.

The man in his mid-40s and from Pembrokeshire was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on the A470 between Llangurig and Llanidloes.

Another driver, a man from north Powys, was taken to Aberystwyth's Bronglais Hospital suffering from serious injuries.

The occupants of the third car, from north Wales, received minor injuries.

The incident happened at around 1700 GMT and the road was closed for six hours.
