Six arrested after nightclub brawl

Police said hundreds of people were involved in a massive brawl after trouble broke out in a Luton nightclub.

Violence spilled out of Liquid Nightclub into Gordon Street in the town centre in what a police spokeswoman described as "drink-fuelled disorder" on Christmas Day.

Furniture was thrown and glasses were smashed inside the club during the fight.

About 40 officers were on hand to calm the crowd.

Six people were arrested and interviewed by Bedfordshire Police following the incident.
