Man arrested after dispute

One man has been arrested after a firearms incident in Melksham, Wiltshire.

Police sent three armed response vehicles and a police dog to an address in Queens Way after being alerted to a dispute on Christmas Day.

It is believed that a man was threatened with a firearm at 2300 GMT.

The property was surrounded by police, and a 28-year-old man arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill.

He is helping police with their inquiries at Melksham police station.
