Woman missing after pub visit

A search has been launched on Anglesey for a woman last seen walking home from a public house late on Christmas Eve.

Police and coastguard rescue teams are searching for 43-year-old Gina Dawn Rogers who disappeared on her way home from the Royal Oak pub in Malltraeth.

She left at 2350 GMT to walk the half-mile home to Glan Menai which is near the river Cefni.

The police helicopter was scrambled on Christmas Day.

The search was resumed on Friday with the Holyhead coastguard team helping to scour the shoreline.

She is 5ft 5in tall, of slim build with shoulder length blonde hair and has a fair complexion.

When last seen she was wearing a three-quarter length brown leather coat with a crème fur-lined hood, blue jeans and brown boots.

North Wales Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 0845 607 1002.
