Mother appeals to missing girl
Kirsty Turner
Kirsty is thought to be with friends
The mother of a teenager who has been missing for more than a month has made an appeal for her to come home for Christmas.

Kirsty Turner from Bestwood in Nottingham disappeared on 7 November.

The 14-year-old was last seen in the Bulwell area.

Initially, police believed she was staying with friends in the West Midlands but now she is still thought to be in the local area.

Sister's appeal

The 14-year-old has been missing before but has always returned home.

She vanished without any money and without telling anyone where she was going.

Jenny Turner said: "We still want you back for Christmas."

"She has had a few problems at school and has fallen out with one of her friends, but if she comes back she won't be in trouble."

Kirsty's sister Louise said: "It will not be the same because Kirsty is not here."

Her family have been knocking doors in the Bulwell area and showing people her photograph in an attempt to try to track her down.

Police have put up posters of Kirsty around Nottingham.
