The hot water bottles have a fake fur cover
The manufacturers of hot water bottles sold at a Swansea store have issued an urgent recall.

The bottles which have imitation fake fur covers have been on sale at the JT Morgan store in the city but a fault has been discovered on the bottles which could cause the rubber to break.

Eurotas, the manufacturers have made an urgent appeal for anyone who has bought the product not to use it.

There is concern that people may have bought the bottles as Christmas gift for children and Eurotas are urging that people return the bottles back to the store where a full refund will be given.

A spokesman for the firm said: "A manufacturing fault has come to light on some of the bottles which could lead to bursting and the danger of scalding.

"The fault involves the thickness of the rubber which appears to be too thin around the neck of the bottle and the side seams.

"Although we are now conducting a full recall, our primary objective is to prevent potential injury to members of the public.

"Our message is if you have bought this product do not use it."

The hot water bottles concerned can be identified by the care label attached to the inside of the cover which includes the name Eurotas Limited.
