A man and two women suspected of being involved in an incident with a gun in south east London have been arrested on the M4 near Heathrow Airport.
Their car was stopped at about 1120 GMT on Wednesday between junctions two and three in Heston, west London.
Police said ammunition was found in the car by armed officers who stopped it on the main route into London.
Scotland Yard said the incident is not terror related and the trio are being held at a west London police station.
