Police play detective for Santa
A stolen car laden with presents could put the cheer back into Christmas for three children.

Police in Buckinghamshire are trying to trace a family in High Wycombe after officers recovered the vehicle full of Christmas presents.

One present is labelled "To Mummy and Daddy, Love Emily, Jenny and Harry".

Two others were destined for Alan and Ann.

Police are eager to reunite the presents with the family in time for the Christmas Day unwrapping.

Officers on Operation Gaunt, the pro-active burglary team in Chiltern Vale, found a car they believed to be stolen in Mickfield, High Wycombe.

Detective Chief Inspector Richard List, said: "If you know a family with children called Emily, Jenny and Harry, please get in touch and help us to return their Christmas presents this Christmas Eve."

Anyone who can help police play Father Christmas and deliver the presents to the right recipients should contact detectives at High Wycombe police station on 0845 8 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
