Cyclist sought after fatal crash
Police are hunting a cyclist who crashed into an 86-year-old man, killing him.

The cyclist failed to stop after the collision, which happened on 20 December in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester.

The old man had been crossing Lord Street but was knocked to the ground, suffering a fractured skull and cuts to his face and head.

He died shortly after 0830 GMT on Christmas Eve.

The cyclist was wearing dark clothing and the bike he was riding did not have any lights on at the time of the crash.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
