Armed gang rob family home

Raiders armed with knives have robbed a family in their home in Oxford.

The couple and their teenage son were taken into a room by the men who were armed with two knives.

The teenager was assaulted, before the gang searched the house on Farndon Road, and stole a laptop computer and cordless and mobile phones.

They escaped in a small red hatchback car along Warnborough Road.

No one was seriously hurt but police said the family were subjected to a very frightening ordeal.
