Missing attacker could be in Wales
Christopher Allen
Christopher Allen is thought to be 49
Police believe a man with a history of violence may have travelled to Wales after going missing from a London hospital.

Christopher Allen was being held under the Mental Health Act for attacks on women.

Officers are warning anyone who knows where he might be to contact them immediately.

He went missing from hospital four days ago and may have come to Wales, where he is known to have relatives.

Allen left Chase Farm Hospital in Enfield, north London, at around 0945 GMT on Saturday morning.

Allen, who is thought to be 49, needs constant medical care and could become "a danger to himself or others, particularly women" if he does not receive treatment soon.

Superintendent Bill Woodhall, from Enfield police, said Allen "is considered vulnerable and needs urgent assistance".

"We also believe he poses a risk to members of the public and would therefore ask that he is not directly approached," he said.

Allen is white, 5ft 10in tall, with dark grey hair, clean shaven, and sometimes wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing a cream jumper and cream trousers, brown leather jacket and black shoes.
