Scotland Yard are hunting the killer of a disabled man who was found stabbed to death at his basement flat on Sunday.

David Keen, 48, an occasional wheelchair user, lived in Fore Street in Eastcote, north-west London.

A post mortem examination gave the cause of death as multiple stab wounds.

There have been no arrests and police are appealing for witnesses who were in the area between 2100 GMT on 20 December and 0900 GMT the following morning.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said police were keeping an open mind about the circumstances of Mr Keen's death and any motive.
