Man charged over Joanne stabbing
Ms Broome was a known drug user
A 46-year-old man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a teenager whose body was found in a burnt out flat.

The body of Joanne Broome was discovered in the property on Main Street in Renton, Dunbartonshire, on Thursday 4 December.

The 18-year-old lived in Bellsmyre, three miles from the scene of the incident.

She had been staying at the flat on a temporary basis.

The man is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Christmas Eve.
