One dead in road crash
One person has died in a car crash in Gloucestershire.

The crash closed the A40 at Windrush, between Northleach and Burford, and police say the road is likely to stay shut for some time.

Two cars are believed to have collided at 1430 GMT on Tuesday, and one person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four other people have been taken to Cheltenham General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

All three emergency services were called and diversions have been set up at the Northleach roundabout.

The Cheltenham coroner has been informed.
