Trains affected by works
Several train services in Somerset are affected by engineering works between Christmas and New Year.

The works are between Tiverton and Taunton from midnight on Saturday 27 December until 2200 GMT on Tuesday.

South West Trains (SWT) says some of its services will be affected, while First Great Western services are being diverted via Exeter St David's and Yeovil Junction.

As a result, some SWT services will end at and start from Yeovil Junction, with connections to or from the diverted First Great Western services.

The diverted services will also call at Crewkerne, Axminster, Honiton, Feniton, Whimple, Pinhoe and Exeter Central - in place of the usual SWT services.
