Appeal to missing girl
Kirsty Turner
Kirsty is thought to be with friends
Police are appealing for a missing teenager to come home.

Kirsty Turner from Bestwood in Nottingham disappeared on 7 November.

The 14-year-old was last seen in the Bulwell area.

Initially, police believed she was staying with friends in the West Midlands but now she is still thought to be in the local area.

The 14-year-old has been missing before but has always returned home.

She is thought to be with friends in Highbury Vale, Nottingham.

She vanished without any money and without telling anyone where she was going.

Inspector Windmill-Jones of Oxclose Police Station, said: "Kirsty is not in any trouble with the police.

"The family is concerned for Kirsty's safety and are desperate to have her home for Christmas.

"I have spoken to the child's mother and she has stressed that Kirsty is not in trouble, and should call home as soon as possible."

Her family have been knocking doors in the Bulwell area and showing people her photograph in an attempt to try to track her down.

Police have put up posters of Kirsty around Nottingham.
