Pensioner goes missing
Police in Greater Manchester are becoming increasingly concerned about a missing pensioner.

James Ratcliffe, 81, went missing from his Middleton home in the early hours of Monday morning.

He was last seen by his granddaughter at a house on Brookside Crescent.

Mr Ratcliffe, who has white hair and wears glasses, was dressed in his pyjamas.

It is thought he was trying to make his way to his son's house a few doors down on Brookside Crescent.

Greater Manchester Police say that due to the low temperatures outside, it is important that Mr Ratcliffe is found quickly.
